Digital West London is a collaboration between the seven West London boroughs to get residents and businesses better connected, faster –  driving growth, providing access to opportunity and transforming lives.

The collaborative approach has already seen millions of pounds worth of investment into new full fibre broadband connections, cantered around local authority housing stock. These connections give residents access to fast, reliable broadband. A further £7.9m is being invested to give 300 public buildings new gigabit connections installed and over 15,000 new homes and business premises will enjoy new gigabit connections.

Building on this success, the Expanding Opportunities programme is creating simpler and quicker pathways to getting wireless communications infrastructure up and running so that West London can enjoy the benefits of next generation communications technology sooner.

The programme focuses on using this advanced digital connectivity to deliver a range of benefits, boosting skills, increasing job opportunities, improving health outcomes, delivering social value and supporting innovation and business growth.
