The West London Alliance (WLA) Digital Team works with the boroughs and other partners to make use of digital infrastructure to improve public services and drive innovation. The team has forged strong partnerships with the sub-region’s impressive academic institutions. We are currently working with the UK DRI Care Research & Technology Centre at Imperial College, based in White City to improve the independence of residents living with Dementia.
As part of our partnership, the WLA joined an Imperial led network which successfully secured ESPRC funding to develop zero burden, sustainable technologies to support independent living with dementia (ZeDTech). The network aims to provide low burden, sustainable, and scalable solutions that minimize disruption, enhance care insights, and empower people affected by dementia. Our goal is to foster independence and improve quality of life by providing equitable access to innovative care technologies across diverse communities.
